Meet Miss Pam

BSEd, CLS

Since graduating from University of Missouri in 1989, Pam Tamerius has been an educator in several settings, including teaching in Iowa’s At-Risk preschool program and kindergarten in public school, 1st and 2nd grade at a University Model school, homeschooling her 5 children, tutoring at Sylvan, Kumon, and then countless children privately. Her true love is teaching individuals and small groups, which she has been doing for over 35 years. Walking alongside her children who labored with school, led her to become passionate about assisting struggling learners and their parents.  Pam’s research led her to the work of Dianne Craft, which she now uses as a basis for her lessons because of its unique and thorough design and cost-effectiveness.    As a Certified Learning Specialist, her goal is to teach parents how to correct their children’s learning blocks, open many gateways to learning for her students, and give them the needed tools so they can study successfully.
